YOUR ROLE:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you are expected to understand the manufacturing industry’s business requirements and translate user needs into functional specifications, a knowledge of DELMIA solutions for manufacturing engineering would be a key added value. Working in R&D development team with relationships with other teams (development, quality assessment, definition) in different locations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Working in R&D development team with relationships with other teams (development, quality assessment, definition, ...) in different locations

·        Work on the 3D manufacturing software define & design, describing the specifications in technical terms: model diagrams & algorithms that will be used. Plan the appropriate user interface, identify and manage dependencies with other components

·        Manage development teams to ensure good development, test & delivery of the different functions, and monitor R&D KPIs (incident reports, automatic tests etc.).

·        Check the progress of dependencies with other components as the project goes on. Ensure knowledge sharing with relevant teams about the dependencies

·        Work towards development convergence: On receipt of incident reports (bugs), based on the priorities, implement and deliver the corrections necessary to improve the code quality up to the last build of a release

·        Regularly analyze the code to pinpoint areas of improvement in code quality, performance

·        Provide maintenance: resolution of external incident reports (bugs) relating to previous releases reported by the technical customer supports or product QA teams.

·        Technological intelligence: keep well-informed of the latest technological developments, understand the requirements of our CAA (Component Application Architecture) partners, know about competing products, look ahead for future product enhancement, technologies, etc.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Education in Computer Science or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering

·        Hands-on experience with some CAD/CAM/PDM software

·        Working knowledge of web development (Javascript, JSON, Java)

·        Working knowledge of software cloud architecture

·        Knowledge of Object Oriented Design, Data Structures, Design Patterns
